Join us at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 9 at the McDowell Senior Center. Our guest speaker will be the manager of the Tractor Supply, who will demonstrate how to set up a bear fence and share important tips for maintaining it year-round. Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene to forage vegetation, bears may be more aggressive in their search for food, so it's essential for the county's beekeepers to be ready.

Hey everyone!

Happy New Year! I’m thrilled to welcome all of you, both old and new, to another exciting year with our club. As your president, I’m looking forward to all the fun activities we’ve got lined up. Think bee school, tastings, and hands on workshops — it’s going to be great!

Big thanks to our outgoing board members and president. Your hard work and dedication have really set us up for success, and we appreciate everything you’ve done.

Here’s to a year full of new adventures, great memories, and awesome friendships. Let’s make this our best year yet!
